i share a bathroom with my moms husband, and his towels hang so i machine dry mine then keep it in my closet, would i be ruining an expensive towel this way?

Speaking in terms of clothing and towels specifically. I have been able to find some towels that are 60% bamboo and 40% standard cotton. But I would of course prefer to buy something that is 100% organic. But I know that bamboo is an excellent resource as well.
So what’s better in terms of being sustainable?
